I’m working on a medical startup that includes a physical device with an integrated computer and display. While searching online, I came across RoboDesigner and it looks very promising.
I already have the mechanical enclosure designed and all measurements defined, but I don’t have a strong electronics background.
Before I proceed, I wanted to ask:
Do I need prior electronics experience to design and order a custom computer board through RoboDesigner, or is the platform built to guide non-experts through the process?
Any advice on what knowledge is required—or what the learning curve looks like—would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
That’s great to know. It really helps to understand that RoboDesigner handles the electronics design itself, so no prior electronics knowledge is required on my side.
I’ll focus on defining the system requirements clearly — including the features I need, the board size, connector types, and their exact locations — so I can select the right modules and make sure everything fits properly inside my enclosure.
